Federal Express Corporation, a major player in express transportation, has been recognized as 'Korea’s Best Work-Life Balance Company' by the Ministry of Employment and Labor (MOEL) alongside several other organizations. This recognition underscores FedEx's dedication to creating a work environment that supports employee well-being and encourages a healthy balance between work and life.

The certification program was introduced this year by MOEL in partnership with entities such as the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the Korea Employers Federation, the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Federation of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises. It acknowledges companies that implement innovative policies to enhance work-life balance for employees. The evaluation criteria include alternative work arrangements, paid annual leaves, working hours, and corporate culture. FedEx stood out for its comprehensive approach to employee well-being through flexible work arrangements and initiatives supporting working parents.

“We are honored to receive this recognition which reflects our ongoing commitment to creating a workplace that values the health and happiness of our employees,” said Wonbin Park, managing director of FedEx Korea. “As work-life balance continues to be a priority for employees, FedEx is dedicated to meet the diverse needs of its workforce. We believe that a balanced life not only improves employee satisfaction but also contributes to a positive corporate culture that drives innovation and excellence in our service delivery to customers.”
