American Express is currently offering significant savings for cardholders planning stays at Marriott Bonvoy properties. Through Amex Offers, users can earn cash back in the form of statement credits when booking eligible hotel stays. However, it is important to note that many of Marriott's top brands are excluded from this promotion.

The offers vary depending on the type of American Express card held. For instance, holders of The Platinum Card from American Express or the Blue Cash Preferred Card may receive different targeted offers. Among the current promotions, one notable offer provides a $150 statement credit after spending $375 at participating Marriott locations, effectively offering a 40% discount on room rates.

Another available offer includes a $100 statement credit for spending $400 at a participating property, equating to a 25% discount. Additionally, some cardholders have received offers such as "Spend $500, get $100 back" and "Spend $250, get $50 back."

An interesting deal is also available from Homes & Villas by Marriott Bonvoy: a $250 rebate after spending $1,000. It should be noted that these offers exclude online retail purchases and certain brands like Ritz-Carlton and St. Regis Hotels & Resorts.

To benefit from these promotions, it is advisable for American Express cardholders to check their offers page to see if they qualify for any targeted deals. The offer must be activated before making qualifying purchases since it is triggered by charges made before March 31.

While adding an offer to multiple cards might seem beneficial, American Express typically allows redemption only once per account holder and may reverse credits if used more than once.
