Wildfires in the Los Angeles area are affecting travel and leading to the closure of several attractions. Flights to and from Southern California have been disrupted, primarily at Hollywood Burbank Airport, where 19% of flights were canceled and 13% delayed as of Wednesday afternoon. Los Angeles International Airport is experiencing minimal disruption.

A traveler from Denver shared a video on X showing the Palisades fire from above. His flight was diverted to LAX due to turbulence caused by strong winds. LA Ontario International Airport also reported around 10% flight cancellations.

Airlines including Delta, JetBlue, Southwest, and United Airlines have issued travel alerts allowing rebooking for affected travelers. American Airlines has implemented a similar policy.

Attractions in Los Angeles are closing as fires spread. The Getty Villa will remain closed through next week, while the Getty Museum in Los Angeles is closed until January 12. The Griffith Observatory is also shut down due to nearby fire threats.

Warner Bros. and Paramount Pictures have suspended studio tours because of "strong winds and fire conditions." Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal CityWalk are temporarily closed as well.

Disneyland and Knott's Berry Farm remain open but may close if conditions worsen.

The situation remains fluid, with updates forthcoming as more information becomes available.
