Hyatt has announced that World of Hyatt members can now book stays at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, which includes The Venetian and The Palazzo. This new partnership allows members to earn and redeem points for qualifying stays when booked through Hyatt's direct channels such as their website or app.

Starting January 9, members can earn credit toward tier status and Milestone Rewards, and enjoy benefits like suite upgrades, late checkout, early check-in (subject to availability), and discounts on gondola rides. Members can also earn points at participating restaurants and retail locations within the resort when charges are billed to their room.

Elite members will receive 5 base points per eligible dollar spent on rooms, resort fees, dining at over 20 participating restaurants and bars, and select retail purchases charged to their room. Additionally, World of Hyatt Credit Card holders will earn 4 bonus points per eligible dollar spent in these categories.

The program includes restaurants owned by The Venetian Resort such as Bouchon by Thomas Keller and Cut by Wolfgang Puck. However, certain venues like Tao nightclub are excluded from the program's benefits.

Despite these perks, there are some limitations. Complimentary bottled water, guaranteed availability, free parking, club lounge access, waived resort fees, destination or facility fees, and Guest of Honor privileges are not included in the program for elite members.

Laurie Blair from Hyatt expressed enthusiasm about the partnership: "This is just such a great partnership and match for our expansion and presence in Vegas," adding that it would be beneficial for World of Hyatt members.

While this collaboration is advantageous for Hyatt's loyalty program participants following the end of its strategic relationship with MGM Resorts in 2023, it does not currently extend similar benefits to members of The Venetian's own loyalty program, Venetian Rewards.

The announcement coincides with a $1.5 billion reinvestment into The Venetian Resort property including updates to its all-suite rooms and convention center. The Sphere at The Venetian has also opened as a technologically advanced entertainment venue hosting major acts like U2.

To celebrate the partnership launch, World of Hyatt is auctioning a Find Experience package offering one member a VIP stay including a Luxury King Suite with views of the Sphere among other exclusive amenities. Bidding is open online until January 16.
