This route last held the top position in 2019, and despite a 48% growth since 2023, it remains about 15% lower than its pre-pandemic numbers.
Several major airlines operate this route, including Cathay Pacific, Eva Air, and China Airlines. In January alone, Cathay Pacific will conduct 760 round-trip flights using various aircraft such as the A321neo and B777-300. "Cathay Pacific operates up to 14 daily one-way flights," providing nearly 129 million Available Seat Miles (ASMs).
Eva Air offers 470 round-trip flights on this route with a fleet that includes the A321 and B787-10 Dreamliner. The airline provides over 62 million ASMs in January. "Eva Air operates up to 13 daily one-way flights."
