Bombardier Aerospace's Challenger 3500, a mid-sized business jet designed to replace the Challenger 350, was unveiled in September 2021. The aircraft boasts several upgrades, including cabin enhancements and auto-throttles. Features from Bombardier's larger Global series have been incorporated into this model, positioning it as an advanced successor.

By October 2024, Bombardier had delivered its 100th Challenger 3500 aircraft, making it the fastest super-midsize business jet to reach this milestone. Among its notable features is a reduced cabin altitude of 4,850 feet at cruising altitudes of up to 41,000 feet. This is a significant improvement over its predecessor and aims to reduce stress and fatigue for passengers. "A low cabin altitude and fresh cabin air allows you to arrive at your destination feeling refreshed and relaxed," said Bombardier Aerospace.

The aircraft also features revolutionary Nuage seats designed for maximum comfort with zero-gravity positioning and ergonomic design. "Our Challenger 3500 aircraft has been designed as an extension of your home and office to maximize productivity and comfort," according to Bombardier Aerospace.

Another highlight is the voice-controlled cabin management system that allows passengers to control lighting, temperature, entertainment options, and more by voice commands. "Our Challenger 3500 aircraft features the most technologically advanced cabin in its class with productivity enhancing features such as the industry’s first voice-controlled cabin," stated Bombardier Aerospace.

The Challenger 3500 is noted for having one of the quietest cabins in its class due to advanced soundproofing technology. "The advanced sound insulating design makes the cabin the quietest in its class," remarked Bombardier Aerospace.

Additionally, the jet includes an advanced avionics suite with enhanced situational awareness capabilities such as autothrottle systems and synthetic vision systems. According to Bombardier Aerospace, "Our Challenger 3500 aircraft features the best-equipped cockpit in its class."
