Eurowings adds Azores route in expanded summer schedule

Eurowings has announced its summer flight schedule for 2025, introducing new direct flights from Düsseldorf to the Azores. Starting May 10, flights will operate once a week on Saturdays to Ponta Delgada. The return flight is also scheduled for Saturdays.

The Azores, known for their volcanic landscapes and tropical vegetation, are set to become more accessible with this new route from North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW). Eurowings aims to expand its holiday offerings at its largest location by including this unique destination.

Additionally, Eurowings is launching several other routes in its summer schedule. From Hanover, travelers can expect three new destinations: Lisbon, Erbil, and Bastia. Flights to Lisbon will begin on June 6 and operate three times weekly on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Erbil flights will start on March 31 with departures twice a week on Mondays and Fridays. Weekly flights to Bastia will commence on May 3.
