New attractions unveiled at US theme parks for 2025 season

The upcoming year promises to be eventful for theme park enthusiasts across the United States. Several parks are introducing new rides, lands, and entertainment offerings that cater to a wide range of interests and ages.

Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, will celebrate its 40th anniversary with numerous additions aimed at family fun. The County Fair area is set for a refresh, alongside new shows including a drone display during the Smoky Mountain Summer Celebration. A remastered "Heartsong: The Movie" will also feature as part of The Dolly Parton Experience.

Silver Dollar City in Branson, Missouri, marks its 65th season with a Spring Exposition festival running from April 10 through May 12. It includes master gardener demonstrations and performances by various musical acts. An expanded Plaza area aims to become an entertainment hub throughout the year.

Universal Orlando Resort will unveil Universal Epic Universe, comprising five themed worlds linked by Celestial Park. Visitors can explore areas based on popular franchises such as Harry Potter and Super Nintendo World. Three new hotels are also set to open alongside the park on May 22.

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay introduces Wild Oasis in its Jungala area with attractions like a drop tower ride and interactive water play zone scheduled for spring 2025. Meanwhile, Busch Gardens Williamsburg presents "The Big Bad Wolf: The Wolf's Revenge," an inverted roller coaster opening next year.

Legoland Florida Resort adds Sea Life Florida Aquarium featuring over 25 exhibits designed for family enjoyment. Legoland New York debuts Lego Duplo Peppa Pig Playground with themed play areas suitable for young children.

SeaWorld Orlando offers Arctic flying theater showcasing icy landscapes and marine life native to those regions starting spring next year. SeaWorld San Antonio launches Rescue Jr., where children can engage in animal conservation-themed activities while enjoying various rides.

Lastly, SeaWorld San Diego plans Jewels of the Sea: The Jellyfish Experience featuring immersive galleries designed around jellyfish habitats expected this spring.

With these diverse offerings spanning thrilling coasters to educational exhibits celebrating marine life—U.S theme parks promise engaging experiences catering broadly across preferences this coming year.
