Carnival Cruise Line is expanding its offerings with four new Asia-Pacific sailings in 2026 and 2027, part of the Carnival Journeys program. These cruises, which are nine nights or longer, will include stops in Japan, Australia, and Southeast Asia. Seven ports will be new to Carnival.

The itineraries will be available on two ships: Carnival Luminosa and Carnival Adventure. The former was acquired from Costa Cruises in 2022, while the latter was previously P&O Cruises Australia's Pacific Adventure before being absorbed by Carnival.

For 2026, Carnival Luminosa will offer a 14-night Tokyo to Singapore cruise featuring first-time visits for Carnival to Hong Kong, Osaka (Kyoto), Fukuoka (Hakata) in Japan, Seogwipo (Jeju) in South Korea, and Keelung (Taipei) in Taiwan. The ship will also stop at Phu My (Ho Chi Minh City) in Vietnam. Fares start at $1,194 per person based on double occupancy.

Another option is a 14-night Singapore to Brisbane cruise that includes stops in Bali and several locations in Australia: Darwin, Cairns, and Airlie Beach. Prices begin at $1,199 per person based on double occupancy.

In 2027, Carnival Adventure's itineraries include a 14-night Sydney to Singapore cruise with visits to Airlie Beach and Darwin in Australia as well as Bali and Lombok in Indonesia. Fares start at $1,010 per person based on double occupancy.

A nine-night round-trip from Singapore focuses on Southeast Asia with inaugural visits to Koh Samui and Laem Chabang (Bangkok) in Thailand and Sihanoukville in Cambodia. This itinerary also includes a stop at Phu My (Ho Chi Minh City). Prices begin at $901 per person based on double occupancy.

Carnival Journeys offers longer sailings than typical cruises with onboard activities such as enrichment courses like photography classes and special dining events showcasing local cuisine.

"Carnival Journeys itineraries are special for the line," offering experiences such as Throwback Sea Day with events reminiscent of early days like a captain's cocktail party.

Travelers can book Carnival Luminosa directly through Carnival or via travel agents. Cruises on Carnival Adventure are currently bookable through P&O Cruises Australia but will be available through Carnival starting March.
