Marriott is set to expand its offerings in Orlando with the introduction of the Villatel Orlando Resort, which will include the first Apartments by Marriott Bonvoy resort in the United States. This new addition caters to travelers seeking longer stays or those who prefer apartment-style accommodations.

The Villatel Orlando Resort will feature two distinct accommodation options: The Villas and Apartments by Marriott Bonvoy. The Villas, capable of housing up to 26 guests, are scheduled to open on March 3, 2025. However, the opening date for the Apartments remains unspecified but is anticipated for early 2025.

This will be the second location for Apartments by Marriott Bonvoy, following its initial launch in San Juan, Puerto Rico, in late 2023. The Orlando resort will offer 256 apartments with two- or three-bedroom units accommodating up to eight guests. These units are designed with full kitchens and private balconies overlooking the resort.

Stephen Lobell, CEO of Villatel, stated, "Villatel Orlando Resort was designed to fill a gap in Orlando's hospitality market by bringing people together in an elevated, ultra-playful setting that offers all the best comforts of home." He added that it provides "a vacation experience unto itself that's built for non-stop fun."

Marriott promotes its Apartments as a blend of hotel and residential living. Each apartment includes luxury furnishings inspired by local surroundings and amenities such as housekeeping every seven days and in-unit washers and dryers.

Marriott Bonvoy members staying at these properties can expect benefits akin to traditional hotels. These include exclusive member rates, complimentary Wi-Fi, points earning opportunities, Elite Night Credits per stay night, and other rewards based on membership status.

Located within ten minutes from Universal Orlando Resort and the upcoming Universal Epic Universe, Villatel Orlando Resort offers various amenities such as a water park with a lazy river and waterslides, sports courts, a fitness center, and more. Guests also have access to complimentary shuttle services to Disney World and Universal Orlando.

Further details about the exact opening date for Apartments by Marriott Bonvoy in Orlando are yet to be announced.
