Ritz Paris remains a top choice during fashion week

The Ritz Paris, a renowned hotel in the French capital, is well-known for hosting high-profile guests during events such as Paris Fashion Week. Notable figures like Princess Diana and Madonna have stayed at this iconic establishment, which features the Suite Imperiale—a national monument listed by the French government. The suite can be booked for a night starting at 40,000 euros or $41,227.

Since its opening in 1898 at 15 Place Vendome, the Ritz Paris has attracted legendary personalities such as Coco Chanel and Ernest Hemingway. However, with new luxury hotels emerging in Paris, maintaining its status requires effort. The hotel's strategy includes offering anticipatory service to meet guests' needs efficiently.

Laurent Herschbach, general manager of the Ritz Paris, emphasized this approach during an interview at the International Luxury Travel Market conference in Cannes. He stated: "When you're sitting at the Ritz, what other door can we open for you... because they don't want to wait anymore."

To ensure convenience for its guests, the hotel limits occupancy so that rooms are always available upon arrival. Additionally, their floating check-in and checkout model allows flexibility on departure dates.

Beyond accommodation services, the Ritz Paris updates its culinary offerings regularly. Bar Hemingway's head bartender Anne-Sophie Prestail oversees menu changes that include innovative cocktails like Les Bulles Dorees and classics such as Frank Meier's sidecar from 1923.

Guests can book directly through Ritz Paris or via travel booking portals linked to American Express and Chase premium credit cards. These platforms offer benefits like breakfast and room upgrades when available. Amex cardholders receive a $100 food-and-beverage credit while Chase users enjoy airport transportation services.

Guest rooms start at 2,100 euros ($2,160) per night.
