Delta Air Lines faced significant disruptions on Wednesday due to an unusual snow event in the Gulf Coast region. The airline canceled around 400 flights, including both Delta mainline and Delta Connection services, before noon. Further delays and cancellations are expected as temperatures remain below freezing.

Efforts are underway to safely resume operations at affected airports in the Gulf Coast and Southeast regions. Ground delay programs have been implemented to manage inbound traffic while ensuring safe airfield movements during surface treatment.

Delta advises customers to use the Fly Delta app for updates on their flights and to make any necessary changes to bookings. Delta.com also serves as a useful resource for passengers seeking information.
