Teterboro Airport, located in Bergen County, New Jersey, has established itself as a central hub for private aviation in the United States. "Teterboro Airport is the oldest operating airport in the New York City metropolitan area," with its origins dating back to 1919 when it served as a manufacturing and testing facility for aircraft. One reason for Teterboro's popularity is its proximity to New York City. Travelers can reach Manhattan in approximately 15 minutes by helicopter or around 30 minutes by car. This convenience is especially valued by those on tight schedules or traveling for high-stakes business meetings.
