FedEx has conducted its annual "FedEx Cares Purple Tote Campaign," aimed at supporting local communities. This initiative saw the participation of over 800 employees from FedEx's Asia-Pacific region, who volunteered more than 1,000 hours to donate a total of 3,600 kg of essential goods. The collected items were distributed to over 20 nonprofit organizations across the Asia-Pacific region, reaching approximately 1,650 individuals including children, the elderly, and vulnerable groups.

In South Korea, FedEx partnered with Beautiful Store Foundation to share warmth with those in welfare blind spots by donating over 430 kg of essential goods. Employees gathered clothing, toys, blankets, electronics, books, and other necessities to support those in need.

The donation is part of FedEx's ongoing social contribution program designed to encourage employees to recognize their impact on the community and support nonprofit organizations providing practical help. This year’s campaign included participation from FedEx employees in Australia, China, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam and New Zealand.

Teams were formed across the Asia-Pacific region as part of this year's campaign. Each team collaborated with chosen nonprofit organizations to collect packaged food items such as books and toys for children; winter clothing; hygiene kits; and other essentials which were delivered in purple tote bags symbolizing care and consideration.

Kawal Preet expressed satisfaction with the success of this campaign stating: “FedEx knows well that connecting with communities and making an actual difference is one of our core values. The FedEx Cares Purple Tote Campaign serves as an important reminder that we can achieve so much when we come together to help others."

Park Won-bin thanked his colleagues for embodying their commitment towards good deeds by saying: “I sincerely appreciate our employees’ dedication through volunteering efforts aimed at positively impacting many vulnerable households." He also extended gratitude towards Beautiful Store Foundation for supporting these meaningful activities.

During fiscal year 2024 alone - aside from delivering donations worldwide amounting up-to $55 million dollars – they contributed KRW40 million toward K League Assist Foundation thereby improving stadium safety measures preventing accidents caused by large crowds at Incheon Football Stadium among other initiatives focused on sustainable logistics or global entrepreneurship programs like 'Delivering For Good.'
