FedEx, a leading express transportation company, has demonstrated its commitment to community support in the Asia-Pacific region. Over 800 FedEx team members dedicated more than 1,000 volunteer hours to collect and donate over 3,600 kilograms of essential supplies to those in need. These efforts benefited over 1,600 individuals through partnerships with more than 20 non-profit organizations.

In Japan, FedEx employees gathered 558 packages of essential items such as rice, noodles, instant meals, canned food, snacks, and condiments. Weighing over 180 kilograms in total, these items were donated to Second Harvest Japan for distribution among disadvantaged communities.

The donations were part of the annual FedEx Cares Purple Tote Campaign which ran from October to December 31, 2024. The campaign empowers FedEx team members across various markets including Australia, China, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam and New Zealand.
