FedEx has reaffirmed its commitment to community development by engaging over 800 team members from its Asia-Pacific region in a volunteer effort. The initiative involved collaboration with more than 20 non-profit organizations, resulting in the donation of over 3,600 kilograms of essential goods to benefit more than 1,650 individuals, including children, the elderly, and vulnerable groups.

The donation drive is part of the annual "FedEx Cares - Purple Heart Bag" campaign. Conducted from October to December 31, 2024, this initiative aims to empower FedEx team members to understand the impact of their actions and support local non-profits they care about most. Volunteers from Australia, mainland China, Taiwan, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, and New Zealand participated in this event.

This year saw FedEx Asia-Pacific team members unite again in various teams to ensure that donations effectively supported children with leukemia and provided educational materials and assistance to families and individuals in need. Each team collaborated with chosen charities to collect essential items like packaged food, books, toys, winter clothing, and hygiene products for distribution through "FedEx Cares Purple Heart Bags." Recipients included children, seniors, and disadvantaged groups.
