US airlines, including United, JetBlue, Frontier, and Delta, are increasing flights to New Orleans for Super Bowl LIX. Fans will also have the opportunity to watch the game on in-flight entertainment systems while flying over the US.

United Airlines has added flights from Philadelphia (PHL) and Kansas City International Airport (MCI), offering fans more options to reach Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY). The airline continues its tradition of special flight numbers for Super Bowl flights. These include UA2017, UA2601, and UA2203 from Philadelphia-New Orleans; and UA1972 and UA2639 from Kansas City-New Orleans.

Delta Air Lines is facilitating travel for Philadelphia fans with two nonstop flights to New Orleans on February 7 and 8, with return flights scheduled for February 10. Kansas City fans have one nonstop flight to New Orleans before the game and two return flights. This schedule provides over 1,300 additional seats from both cities. In-flight streaming will be available for Delta SkyMiles members through Delta Sync.

JetBlue is adding limited-time nonstop flights from New York JFK Airport and Newark to New Orleans. These special services aim to accommodate more Super Bowl attendees. JetBlue offers seatback entertainment with live television broadcasts of the game.

Frontier Airlines will operate a round-trip flight between Philadelphia and New Orleans on February 8 and 10. "We can’t wait to see our planes packed with midnight green as Philly’s biggest football fans flock to The Big Easy," said Josh Flyr, Frontier Airlines Vice President of Network and Operations Design.

The Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport is preparing for high passenger volumes similar to those experienced at Las Vegas Harry Reid International Airport during last year's Super Bowl LVIII. The airport recently installed new systems aimed at improving passenger processing efficiency in anticipation of the increased traffic.
