Delta Air Lines has achieved the 11th position on Fortune's World’s Most Admired Companies list, marking its 12th year of recognition. Delta's ranking is notably higher than any other global airline, with the next-highest score being 28.

Delta CEO Ed Bastian attributed this success to the company's workforce, stating, "This incredible recognition validates what we already know to be true – our people are the secret of our success." He emphasized that their commitment allows Delta to provide exceptional service and operations for customers.

The airline continues to enhance customer experiences with initiatives such as a partnership offering onboard dining collaborations and fast, free Wi-Fi through Delta Sync presented by T-Mobile. This connectivity is available on over 885 domestic aircraft, with plans for international expansion. Other improvements include new Delta One Lounges and an expanded Delta Sky Club network.

Delta has also made strides in sustainability. In 2024, its Carbon Council saved 41 million gallons of jet fuel through operational improvements. The company announced plans for a sustainable aviation fuel blending facility in Minnesota and introduced eco-friendly materials like paper cups to reduce plastic use.

Fortune determines its rankings by collaborating with Korn Ferry to survey corporate reputations. The process begins with selecting candidates from large U.S. companies and international firms with significant revenues. Executives rate companies based on criteria such as management quality and social responsibility.
