This week, North America saw the introduction of its first fully electric refrigerated catering truck for the aviation industry. The CT6000E, developed through a collaboration between Mallaghan and International Motors, LLC, will be utilized at Boston's Logan International Airport.

The vehicle represents a significant step towards net-zero emissions in airport operations. Ronan Mallaghan, CEO of Mallaghan, emphasized the company's commitment to innovation and sustainable solutions: "As the industry evolves, we remain dedicated to meeting the growing demand for eco-friendly equipment and look forward to continuing to work with our partners to deliver market-leading products."

The CT6000E will be operated by DO & CO, an international catering business, supporting Delta Air Lines' Onboard Dining Services at Cargo Venture's Logan Cargo Park in East Boston. This new truck aims to improve ground operations efficiency and safety with features like an advanced aircraft-controlled approach system (CAS), a 360-degree Birds Eye camera system, and onboard telemetry.

We are grateful for the partnerships that made this possible and look forward to seeing more of these innovative EVs in the future."
