Emirates has unveiled its newly refurbished lounge at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport, located in the Satellite 1 Terminal (SAT-1). This new facility is the airline's largest international lounge outside of Dubai, underscoring Thailand's significance as a major market within Emirates' global network.

The lounge spans 1,454 square meters and can accommodate up to 250 guests. It supports premium passengers traveling on two simultaneous A380 departures. The $5 million investment offers First and Business Class passengers, along with Skywards members, a sophisticated pre-flight experience. Amenities include upscale furnishings, elegant dining options featuring local and international cuisine, shower spas, complimentary Wi-Fi, and classic Thai desserts.

Emirates is among the first airlines to operate from SAT-1 Terminal. The lounge is conveniently situated just five minutes from the boarding gates for any of Emirates’ six daily flights from Bangkok.

Globally, Emirates operates 41 airport lounges including seven at Dubai International Airport and others across its network. Additionally, eligible customers have access to partner lounges in select locations.

This year marks Emirates' 35th anniversary of service to Thailand. The airline continues to enhance tourism and business connectivity in Southeast Asia with five daily flights between Dubai and Bangkok using Airbus A380s and Boeing 777s. There are also double daily flights to Phuket and a non-stop service between Bangkok and Hong Kong.

With over 870 First and Business Class seats available daily on routes to/from Bangkok, Emirates maintains the largest premium cabin capacity among international carriers serving this destination. This extensive capacity reinforces its position as a leading foreign airline for luxury travel in the region.

Bangkok ranks as Emirates’ second-largest destination for First and Business Class seat capacity due to high demand for premium travel services. Beyond flight experiences, First and Business Class passengers benefit from door-to-door luxury with complimentary Chauffeur-drive service within a 60-km radius from Suvarnabhumi Airport**, exclusive check-in counters, Onboard Lounge access on A380 aircrafts, private suites in First Class cabins, luxurious Shower Spas onboard A380s, as well as an award-winning entertainment system offering over 6,500 channels.
