Alaska Airlines has reopened its expanded lounge at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport following a year of development and construction. The newly renovated space offers more than double the seating, increasing from 65 to 140 seats, and adds an additional 2,600 square feet.

"The Anchorage Lounge is one of the busiest in our network, and we can’t wait to welcome back guests to this newly refreshed space as they travel through Anchorage. This remodel is part of our Great Land Investment Plan, which involves $60 million in projects throughout the state of Alaska over the next few years. Providing an elevated travel experience is just one way to show we care for our guests and thank them for their loyalty," said Todd Traynor-Corey, Vice President of Guest Products and Experience at Alaska Airlines.

Located in Concourse C near Gate C-1, the lounge now includes comfortable seating options with power outlets nearby. Guests can enjoy complimentary fresh food items and premium beverages daily. The lounge features hand-crafted espresso drinks made with locally roasted beans from Kaladi Brothers, along with a selection of West Coast wines, craft brews, and custom cocktails.

The design reflects Alaska's natural beauty by blending modern interiors with local artistic elements. "We’re proud to offer our guests a space that feels both modern and deeply connected to Alaska’s rich culture that celebrates the state’s landscape and heritage," said Marilyn Romano, Regional Vice President of Alaska at Alaska Airlines.

This renovation is part of broader investments in the airline's lounge program across its network. Plans include opening new lounges at San Diego International Airport and Seattle by 2027.

Alaska Airlines operates nine lounges at six airports: Anchorage; Los Angeles; New York JFK; Portland (two locations); San Francisco; and Seattle (three locations). Membership options provide access to these lounges and nearly 90 partner lounges worldwide.

Alaska Air Group Inc., based in Seattle, includes subsidiaries such as Hawaiian Holdings Inc., Horizon Air, and McGee Air Services. It serves over 140 destinations globally and is a member of the oneworld Alliance.
