The Vince Lombardi Trophy has made its way back to New Orleans for Super Bowl LIX, arriving via FedEx, the NFL's Official Delivery Service. The trophy was transported in a FedEx delivery van to the Super Bowl Experience Presented by Panini, marking New Orleans' 11th time hosting the event, equaling Miami's record.

"FedEx is proud to play a pivotal role in this Super Bowl Week tradition for the 25th consecutive year," said Jenny Robertson, senior vice president of marketing and communications at FedEx. "No prize in football is more coveted than the Vince Lombardi Trophy, and FedEx is thrilled to deliver it to a city with such a rich Super Bowl history like New Orleans."

This year's delivery included Mike Nunes, a 29-year veteran courier at FedEx, and Deuce McAllister, a two-time Pro Bowler and New Orleans Saints Hall of Famer. They brought the trophy to its display location inside the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center.

Crafted by Tiffany & Co., the sterling silver Vince Lombardi Trophy features a regulation-size football on a pyramid-like base inscribed with 'Vince Lombardi Trophy,' 'Super Bowl LIX,' and the NFL shield.

Fans can view the trophy at the convention center from February 5-8. On February 9, it will be awarded to either Kansas City or Philadelphia as they compete for the title of Super Bowl LIX Champion for the 2024-2025 NFL season.

"The signature sterling of the iconic Vince Lombardi Trophy is a sign for football fans worldwide that the biggest game of the year is on the horizon," stated Peter O’Reilly, NFL EVP of Club Business and League Events. "Our friends at FedEx ensure the trophy’s safe and timely delivery each year, giving hundreds of thousands of fans the chance to see something they’ve only ever seen on TV up-close and personal."
