Flexjet has announced a significant expansion of its fleet with a $7 billion order for private jets from Embraer. The deal, unveiled on February 5th, includes 182 aircraft comprising Phenom 300Es, Praetor 500s, and Praetor 600s. Additionally, Flexjet has secured an option to purchase up to thirty more jets and an extended service agreement.

The transaction is one of the largest in Embraer's history. Michael Amalfitano, President and CEO of Embraer Executive Jets, commented on the partnership: "We are delighted with Flexjet’s renewed commitment to Embraer through this comprehensive purchase agreement, which strengthens even further our strategic partnership of over 20 years."

Flexjet's relationship with Embraer dates back to 2003 when Flight Options introduced the Legacy executive jet as part of a fractional ownership program. This longstanding collaboration has seen Flexjet become a launch customer for several Embraer models, including the Legacy Executive in 2003 and the Phenom 300 in 2010.

Currently, Flexjet operates a fleet that includes 55 Phenom 300s and numerous Praetor models. The Phenom 300E is known for being one of the most delivered light business jets globally for twelve consecutive years. The Praetor series represents some of the latest advancements in midsize and super-midsize business jet classes.

Flexjet's representatives highlighted their enduring partnership with Embraer: "The partnership between Embraer and Flexjet dates back to 2003... This longstanding partnership has grown significantly over the years."

With this new order, Flexjet aims to nearly double its fleet size as it continues to be one of the world's leading chartered flight providers.
