Alaska Airlines has opened its newly remodeled lounge at Anchorage Airport, doubling the space and seating capacity. This expansion is part of the airline's Great Land Investment Plan, which involves $60 million in projects across Alaska over the next three years. The Anchorage Lounge now features an additional 2,600 square feet and can accommodate up to 140 guests.

Located in Concourse C near Gate C-1, the lounge offers views of the tarmac and provides most seats with access to power outlets. It serves a daily selection of complimentary fresh food items and premium beverages such as hand-crafted espressos and West Coast wines.

Each Alaska Airlines lounge is designed to reflect its city's character. In Anchorage, modern interiors are combined with elements inspired by Alaska's natural beauty. The lounge will also feature works by local artists capturing Alaska's essence.

The airline has also announced developments at other airports, including a new lounge at Honolulu's Daniel K. Inouye International Airport. Todd Traynor-Corey, vice president of guest products & experience at Alaska Airlines, stated: "We are reimagining the travel experience with spaces that showcase our dedication to guest satisfaction and the unique culture of Hawai'i."

Additionally, Alaska Airlines plans to open a new lounge at San Diego International Airport followed by an international lounge in Seattle by 2027. Currently, it operates nine lounges across six airports.

Membership options for accessing these lounges include standard and Lounge+ memberships, allowing entry into all Alaska Airlines locations and nearly 90 partner lounges worldwide. Membership benefits include complimentary access for immediate family or two guests traveling together.

Alaska MVP Gold members can use lounges when traveling on oneworld member airlines outside North America. Those flying first class on flights over 2,000 miles receive same-day access to lounges.
