Bilt is exploring new credit card options, as indicated by a recent survey sent to its cardholders. The Bilt Mastercard, launched in 2021, allows renters to earn rewards on rent payments without a processing fee. This initiative has expanded the Bilt Rewards ecosystem.

The company is considering expanding its offerings to include mortgage payment rewards. "I do want to be clear that these are not locked-in options," said Richard Kerr, VP of Travel at Bilt Rewards.

The survey asks cardholders to choose between three tiers of cards: no-annual-fee, $95 annual fee, and $550 annual fee. It also explores preferred reward categories and current card usage.

Mortgage rewards could make the program more appealing to homeowners who spend significantly on housing costs. However, some remain cautious about potential restrictions or fees associated with these benefits.

The survey also presents various earning rates and statement credits for consideration. Some respondents expressed interest in earning points on mortgages but were wary of high annual fees without additional unique benefits.

Bilt's future offerings may include diverse card portfolios with different earning structures. However, existing promotions like Rent Day double points might see changes if new products are introduced.

Overall, while there is excitement about possible changes, many await further details before deciding on new offerings from Bilt Rewards.
