Boston Logan International Airport, a major hub on the East Coast, served over 43 million passengers in 2024. It acts as a central point for Delta Air Lines and JetBlue while hosting various international carriers. The airport's busiest international routes last year included London Heathrow with 865,000 passengers and Paris with 425,000.

As of February 2025, Boston Logan offers several long-haul international routes. Among these is the Boston to Doha route, spanning 6,518 miles and operated daily by Qatar Airways using Airbus A350-900 aircraft. The airline has a fleet of 34 A350-900s, each seating up to 283 passengers across two classes.

Another significant route is Boston to Dubai at 6,663 miles, serviced by Emirates with Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. Emirates operates a vast fleet of these planes and plans future replacements with the newer Boeing models.

Etihad Airways connects Boston to Abu Dhabi over a distance of 6,681 miles using Boeing 787-9 aircraft. The airline has multiple configurations for its fleet of these planes.

Japan Airlines runs flights from Boston to Tokyo Narita covering 6,702 miles with Boeing 787-9 aircraft. This service is unique in directly linking Boston with Tokyo's major airports.

Hainan Airlines offers flights between Boston and Beijing at a distance of 6,738 miles using Boeing 787-9s three times weekly. Notably, the return flight includes a stop in Brussels for refueling.

Korean Air covers the second-longest route from Boston to Seoul Incheon at 6,829 miles daily with Boeing 777-300ERs. The airline partners with Delta Air Lines for additional connectivity options.

The longest route is from Boston to Hong Kong at nearly 8,000 miles operated by Cathay Pacific twice daily using Airbus A350 aircraft variants until March before transitioning solely to A350-900s in April.

In terms of domestic travel from Boston Logan last year, Chicago was the most popular destination followed closely by Orlando and Washington DC.

JetBlue holds the largest market share at the airport followed by Delta Air Lines and American Airlines among others.
