Delta Air Lines has introduced new features and benefits for its Medallion Members as part of the 2025 Medallion Year. The airline's loyalty program aims to enhance the travel experience for its most frequent flyers through a series of updates.

One of the notable additions is the introduction of personalized metal bag tags for Medallion Members. These tags can be customized with personal details, including name and SkyMiles Membership information. Members can personalize their tags by visiting www.deltamedalliontags.com.

The Fly Delta app has also been updated to allow Diamond and Platinum Medallion Members to select Choice Benefits that suit their preferences. "This year, Members will continue to enjoy increased values on most exclusive Choice Benefits – including bonus miles, Travel Vouchers, Medallion Qualification Dollars (MQD) Accelerators, gifting Status, Delta Vacations experiences and more," according to Delta.

SkyMiles Members now have expanded opportunities to earn miles through partnerships with brands like Starbucks and Uber. Uber joins as a new partner this spring, allowing members to earn miles on U.S. rides and Uber Eats deliveries.

Delta is offering exclusive Award Deals with significant discounts on flights to various destinations. "Last year, customers purchased millions of award tickets for less than 25K miles," stated Delta.

The airline continues to focus on enhancing premium experiences for its members. Those achieving Diamond Medallion status in 2026 will have access to Beyond Diamond Choice Benefits.

Delta encourages all travelers to join the SkyMiles program, highlighting that membership is free and offers immediate benefits without needing elite status.
