Private jet travel in the United States has experienced significant growth following the COVID-19 pandemic, with several airports seeing increased traffic. This trend is attributed to factors such as the expansion of jet cards and charter club programs, which have made private aviation more accessible.

Major airlines like United Airlines, Delta Air Lines, and British Airways have been increasing their premium offerings. However, they still face challenges in meeting the needs of ultra-high-net-worth private jet travelers. Some airlines are investing in private jet charter operators; for instance, Delta has acquired a controlling stake in Wheels Up.

The clientele for private jets has diversified beyond business travelers to include those traveling for leisure. The convenience and luxury of private jets continue to attract a growing number of passengers.
