Hong Kong International Airport (HKG) is among the world's busiest, having managed over 53 million passengers in 2024. The airport serves as a hub for Cathay Pacific, Hong Kong's flag carrier, which operates more than 150 aircraft to over 80 destinations globally.

The airport's strategic location makes it a key point for ultra-long-haul routes by both Cathay Pacific and other international carriers. According to data from Cirium, an aviation analytics firm, the following are the 12 longest nonstop routes from HKG in 2025:

1. The longest route is between Hong Kong and Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW), spanning 8,120 miles. Cathay Pacific will begin service on April 24, 2025, operating four flights weekly with Airbus A350-1000s before switching to A350-900s in October.
