American Airlines has announced changes to its flight schedule from New York LaGuardia Airport (LGA) in 2025. The airline will introduce new flights to Charleston International Airport (CHS) in South Carolina, starting June 6. These flights will be operated by Republic Airlines for American Eagle using Embraer E170 and E175 aircraft.
According to Cirium, an aviation analytics company, the schedule includes a one-way flight from New York LaGuardia to Charleston on Friday and a return service on Saturday. There will also be a one-way flight from Charleston to New York LaGuardia on Sunday.
Delta Air Lines, which operates over 250 return flights between these airports in June, will provide competition for American Airlines on this route. Delta uses various aircraft including the Embraer E170 and E175 of Republic Airline, Bombardier CRJ900 of Endeavor Air, and Airbus A220.
