Delta Air Lines has announced that all 21 passengers injured in the crash of Delta Connection Flight 4819 have been discharged from the hospital. The flight, operated by Endeavor Air, experienced a hard landing at Toronto Pearson International Airport on Monday.

Delta's CEO Ed Bastian expressed gratitude for the recovery of those injured and appreciation for the medical care they received. He stated, "The Delta and Endeavor families are grateful that all those injured Monday have been released from the hospital, and we extend our thanks to everyone who provided care to them over the past few days. We will continue to connect one-on-one with customers, employees and loved ones as we move forward to make sure their needs are met with care."

The Transportation Safety Board (TSB) of Canada is investigating the incident. Ken Webster, TSB's manager of regional operations in Ontario, reported that more than 20 investigators are involved in examining the accident site. The two recorders from the aircraft have been sent for analysis.

During the incident, parts of the plane broke off after a hard landing, leading to flames and smoke before it flipped upside down. All 76 passengers and four crew members survived; however, two individuals sustained critical injuries. Delta is offering $30,000 to each passenger affected by this event.

The cause of the crash remains undetermined as investigations continue. The TSB has confirmed that both the cockpit voice recorder (CVR) and flight data recorder (FDR) have been sent to Ottawa for further examination.

Regarding the aircraft involved, it has been moved to a hangar at Toronto Pearson International Airport for additional inspection. Investigators will also examine the runway before its return to normal operations.

Delta Connection Flight 4819 was conducted by registration N932XJ, a CRJ900LR delivered to Endeavor Air in January 2012. Originally part of Mesaba Airlines' fleet since September 2008, Endeavor is a wholly owned subsidiary of Delta focusing on regional flights within the United States.

This incident occurs amid heightened scrutiny over aviation safety following several recent incidents across North America.
