Qantas is encouraging its passengers to book a much-needed domestic getaway with a high-profile sale featuring one million discounted seats on internal flights. With 60 destinations available and the discounts applying to both economy and business class, as well as being partially bookable with Qantas Classic Plus points, there is something for everyone in the airline's sale.

As announced by the Australian flag carrier and oneworld founding member in a statement published yesterday morning, Qantas has put one million discounted domestic seats on sale. The seven-day promotional period began yesterday and will run for the rest of the week, concluding at 23:59 AEDT on March 2nd. However, passengers are encouraged to act fast when booking.

This urgency arises because while Qantas has implemented a time-based cutoff for this sale, the promotion will end sooner if all of the one million discounted domestic seats are snapped up before that point. With seats bookable with either cash or partially with Qantas Classic Plus Points, and both domestic economy and business tickets available, there are numerous ways guests can take advantage of the sale fares. Commenting on the sale, Qantas Domestic CEO Markus Svensson said:
