The Airbus A380, the largest passenger jet in service today, was designed for the hub-and-spoke model and is capable of handling many of the world's longest ultra-long-haul routes. However, it also finds itself on many high-capacity short-haul flights. The shortest A380 flights are less than 1,000 miles, while the longest non-stop A380 flight is Emirates' 8,824-mile journey from Dubai to Auckland, New Zealand.

Here are the ten shortest A380 routes scheduled for March 2025, according to data provided by Cirium, an aviation analytics company.

Singapore Airlines was the Superjumbo's launch customer and acquired a total of twelve A380s. The carrier boasts that it is "the first airline to fly the world’s largest commercial aircraft," offering broader seats and more personal storage. Singapore operates this route with an A380 every second day.

9. Dubai to Cairo - 1,203 miles

Emirates operates numerous short but high-capacity flights across the Middle East from its base at Dubai International Airport. Among these is a flight to Cairo , Egypt , which stands as one of their most frequent routes with ninety- three one-way flights scheduled for March.
