Emirates is introducing a range of initiatives to support customers observing Ramadan, both in the air and on the ground.

In the Emirates Lounges at Dubai International Airport (DXB), guests can enjoy an assortment of Arabic sweets, dates, and coffee. The First and Business Class lounges will serve traditional dishes such as hot and cold Arabic mezze, lentil soup, Arabic mixed grill with tahina, lamb mandi with dakous and coriander mint raita, chicken machboos with cucumber yoghurt sauce, and various desserts including pistachio kunafa and chocolate baklava. Similar offerings will be available in Emirates Lounges in Cairo and Jeddah.

The lounges are equipped with dedicated prayer rooms and ablution facilities to provide a peaceful environment for worship.

At select Emirates Boarding Gates during iftar time, complimentary iftar boxes containing water, laban, a banana, and dates will be distributed to fasting customers.

To assist fasting passengers onboard, Emirates employs a unique tool that calculates precise timings for imsak (the start of fasting) and iftar based on the flight's longitude, latitude, and altitude. Passengers will be notified by the captain when it is time to break their fast.

During Ramadan, all cabin classes on select destinations will offer nutritionally balanced Ramadan meal boxes. These bespoke boxes feature geometric designs inspired by traditional Islamic art and include items like hummus or moutabel with Arabic bread\, almond chocolate\, walnut baklawa\, apricot ball\,\! traditional dates\, chicken zaatar wrap or lamb shawarma wrap\, accompanied by laban.

Flights catering to Umrah groups traveling to Jeddah and Medina during Ramadan will also serve these meals. Additionally, passengers can check in one bottle of Islamic holy water 'ZAMZAM' containing up to five liters per person at Dubai International Airport (DXB) and various airports in Saudi Arabia.

Throughout Ramadan (Ramazan), Emirates ice system will feature special religious content including Hadi Al Nabi Kalimat Fi Hob Al Rasool Kheir Qodwa Maqased Su'ar Al Qur'an Nafhat in Arabic as well as Ramadan Ki Fazilat Ramadan Bakhshish Ka Saman in Urdu The Holy Qur’an is also available on ice Popular series such as Sadaf Dawaay Al Safar Al Uqda Hikmat Wehbi Podcast amongst more than...6500 channels of on-demand entertainment are included featuring up to...450 channels of movies TV Arabic music podcasts
