Embraer has unveiled its Q4 2024 and annual results, highlighting a 14% increase in commercial aircraft deliveries to 73 units. This total includes 26 E1 family aircraft and 47 E2 family aircraft. In Q4 alone, the company delivered 11 E1 and 20 E2 family aircraft, marking a year-on-year improvement of 24%.

The Brazilian plane maker also reported delivering 130 private jets, an uptick of 13% from the previous year, along with three KC-390 Millenium units. Overall, Embraer's deliveries for 2024 stood at 206 aircraft, reflecting a 14% improvement compared to the prior year.

Embraer said that these figures align with its guidance for both commercial and executive aviation divisions. The company's commercial aviation division recorded revenues of $981 million, up by31%year-on-year (YoY), driven by growing deliveries. Additionally, the adjusted earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) margin rose from5%to9%

At the close of2024 , Embraer's backlog was valued at$26 .3 billion , including a$10 .2 billion commercial aircraft backlog. While there was an8 % quarter-on-quarter decline in backlog value, it improved by15 % YoY.

Embraer's firm order backlog includes164 E175 ,25 E190 -E2 , and154 E195 -E2 aircraft. Recent orders in2025 include All Nippon Airways' purchase of20 E190 -E2 aircraft(15 firm orders and five options) placed on February25 .

The majority of theE175 orders are destined for United States-based airlines through capacity purchase agreements(CPA). Out of the164 E175 aircraft on order, only nine are not intended for U.S. airlines. American Airlines has92 firm orders; Republic Airways has41 ; SkyWest Airlines has18 ; and Horizon Air part of Alaska Air Group has six.

E190-E2 customers include Mexicana (ten), Azorra (eight), Virgin Australia (four), Aircastle (two), and Air Kiribati (one). The E195-E2's backlog counts Azul with51 orders; Porter Airlines with31 ; Aercap an Ireland-based lessor with16 among others.

"Finally," said Embraer,"it is important to highlight the company’s production leveling initiative which we want to make progress on in2025 "

In terms of future projections, Embraer estimates between77 and85 commercial aircraft deliveries in2025 representing a potential10 % YoY improvement at mid-point guidance levels. The company expects to deliver between145 -155 additional private jets as well.

As a result," Revenues in2025 should be between$7 billion-$7 .5 billion" with an adjusted EBIT margin ranging from7 .5%-8 .3%. In comparison,revenue figures were$6 .3 billion(2023:$5 .2 billion) while net profit amounted to$354 .7 million(2023:$168 .6 million)
