The Airbus A330-900, part of the new A330neo family, has become a popular choice among airlines for its capability to operate on routes up to 7,200 nautical miles. Equipped with Rolls-Royce Trent 7000 engines and advanced flight systems, the A330-900 is designed to reduce fuel consumption by 25% compared to previous-generation aircraft. As of February 2025, here are the largest operators of the A330-900 according to ch-aviation.

Starlux Airlines currently operates five A330-900s with three more on order, bringing their total planned fleet to eight. Their aircraft are configured in two variants: one with four first-class seats, 26 business-class seats, 36 premium economy seats, and 240 economy seats; the other with 28 business-class seats and 269 economy seats. These cabins feature Gentex electro-dimmable windows and improvements developed by BMW Designworks.

Azul Linhas Aéreas Brasileiras has seven A330-900s in inventory out of a planned fleet of fourteen. Their configuration includes 34 business class seats arranged in a staggered layout that convert into fully flat beds, alongside Economy Xtra and economy class configurations.

Virgin Atlantic possesses eight A330-900s with an additional sixteen on order. Their configuration consists of Upper Class (business class) seats that can be converted into fully flat beds, premium economy seats arranged in a2 -3 -2 layout ,and economy class seats set up ina2 -4 -2 formation .

Lion Air has received all eight of its ordered AirbusA33O -9OOs , although four remain inactive .The Indonesian low-cost carrier uses single-class configurations featuring either44Oor436seats depending on crew seat fittings .

Corsair International operates nine activeA33O -9OOs replacing older models . The French airline 's configuration includes businessclassflatbedseats , premiumeconomyseats ,andeconomyclassarrangements .Corsair highlights itscommitmenttosocialandenvironmentalresponsibilitiesby modernizingitsfleet .
