**Article: FedEx Taiwan Team Collaborates with Asia Pacific Counterparts to Support Local Communities**

Taipei, February 14, 2025 — As one of the world's largest express transportation companies, FedEx has demonstrated its steadfast commitment to supporting communities by mobilizing over 760 employees who volunteered more than 1,000 hours and donated over 3,400 kilograms (nearly 7,500 pounds) of essential supplies. Through collaborations with more than 20 non-profit organizations, these efforts have benefited over 1,600 recipients, including children, the elderly, and other vulnerable groups.

The goods donation drive is a key component of the annual FedEx Cares Purple Bag initiative. This program ran from October to December 31 in its mission to empower FedEx team members to make an impact on local non-profit organizations. Volunteers from ten Asia Pacific markets - Australia, China, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam - actively participated in this year's initiative.

This year saw FedEx employees once again coming together across regions in teams of various sizes to ensure every donation made a meaningful impact. Their contributions included support for children with leukemia and providing educational supplies for those in need. Each team collaborated with their chosen charity to gather essential items such as packaged foodstuffs, books/toys/winter clothing/hygiene products which were then placed into FedEx Cares Purple Bags symbolizing care and compassion before being delivered by FedEx employees themselves.

In Taiwan alone:

- A total of 192 volunteers teamed up with six non-profit organizations.

- They collected 488 kilograms of essentials benefiting 652 children and underserved families.

- Donations included daily necessities like toilet paper/body wash along with food items such as soy milk/instant meal packs.

These efforts aimed at meeting practical needs ensured recipients had access to necessary resources thereby improving their quality of life.
