Delta Air Lines has announced the introduction of year-round service to Marrakesh starting in October 2025, with thrice-weekly flights operated by a Boeing 767-400ER. This new route will make Delta the second U.S. airline to offer flights to the Moroccan city, following United Airlines' launch of a connection from Newark in October last year.

Marrakesh, previously without any service to the United States, has experienced significant growth in capacity, stimulating further demand. While it previously relied heavily on European tourism, Marrakesh's expanding intercontinental network reflects its growing popularity.

Delta also announced the addition of seasonal flights to Accra, Ghana from its Atlanta hub beginning in December to meet increased winter season demand. This new route will coexist with existing service from New York JFK.
