Delta Air Lines is expanding its collaboration with Shake Shack, making it easier for first-class passengers to enjoy cheeseburgers at high altitudes. Starting Tuesday, the Atlanta-based carrier will offer Shake Shack cheeseburgers on domestic first-class flights over 900 miles from four additional hubs: Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL), Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), New York's LaGuardia Airport (LGA), and Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA). This expansion follows the initial offering from Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) last fall.

"This is part of our work to partner with brands our customers already know and love while continuing to raise the bar for the in-flight experience," said Stephanie Laster, Delta's managing director of onboard service.

As part of this collaboration, passengers must preselect their burger ahead of the flight. The meal includes potato chips, a Caesar salad, and a dark chocolate brownie.

In addition to expanding its Shack Shack tie-up, Delta announced a promotion for SkyMiles members. Those who join or are already on the waitlist for an upcoming partnership with Uber can take advantage of a "buy one, get one" Shackburger offer via Uber Eats between March 4 and March 14.

The menu refresh also includes other additions. Jon & Vinny's braised meatballs with Bianco DiNapoli marinara will now be available on more select first-class routes departing from west and southwest airports and in Delta One- branded cabins departing from cities like Cincinnati, Minneapolis-St. Paul, Orlando, Portland, Salt Lake City, Tampa, and LAX.

For international Delta One service passengers, Champagne Taittinger will now be served as part of what Delta calls a "historic milestone for both brands. "

Main cabin passengers won't be left out either; they can look forward to trial zero-proof beverages such as Q Hibiscus Ginger Beer, Lyre's Amalfi Italian Spritz, Filthy Margarita Mix—and even Red Bull—available for purchase on select transcontinental flights including routes between New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and San Francisco International Airport (SFO), JFK- LAX and BOS-LAX.

As Delta celebrates its centennial in 2025, passengers will also notice special branding on Biscoff sandwich cookie wrappers and cans of Sweetwater 420 Extra Pale Ale.
