Frontier Airlines has announced several new routes, including its first-ever service to Paine Field in Everett, Washington, and Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. The airline aims to capitalize on passenger demand with these new additions.

The ultra-low-cost carrier will launch four routes this spring, marking its inaugural services from Seattle Paine Field International Airport (PAE) and Gregorio Luperón International Airport in Puerto Plata (POP). Frontier already operates flights to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA), and the added service at Paine Field is intended to provide more convenient and affordable options for consumers in the greater Seattle area and Western Washington.

“We are proud to continue our rapid network growth, providing affordable travel to more people in more places both domestically and internationally. From the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest to the stunning tropical paradise of the Dominican Republic, to many destinations in between, there will be even more for budget-savvy consumers to explore this year with Frontier. ”

Starting June 2nd, three services from Seattle Paine Field Airport will commence: Denver International Airport (DEN), Harry Reid International Airport Las Vegas (LAS), and Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX). Each route will operate thrice a week. On June 19th, Frontier will begin services between Gregorio Luperón International Airport (POP) and San Juan Puerto Rico (SJU), as well as between Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport and Puerto Plata.

Currently, Alaska Airlines is the only carrier with scheduled flights out of Paine Field. According to Cirium data, Alaska has a total of 320 flights scheduled out of Paine Field in March to eight destinations: Honolulu; Las Vegas; Los Angeles; Phoenix; Palm Springs; San Diego; San Francisco; and Santa Ana.

During a recent press conference at Paine Airport Stephen Shaw senior manager of network planning for Frontier said:
