Lufthansa Group's point-to-point business segment, which includes Eurowings and a stake in SunExpress, reported a profit exceeding 200 million euros for 2024. Almost 23 million passengers flew with Eurowings during the year. The airline's Summer 2025 program features flights to 142 destinations across 26 countries. Employment reached record levels with over 5,300 staff members. Eurowings was recognized as a four-star airline by Skytrax and successfully expanded its operations to the Middle East.

As part of its expansion strategy, Eurowings benefited significantly from establishing direct connections to the Gulf region due to strong demand. Germany's largest leisure airline now links destinations like Dubai and Jeddah with German metropolitan areas such as Berlin.

Growth impulses also stem from launching the company's tour operator - Eurowings Holidays - which offers tailored holiday packages for customers. The new venture aims to rank among Germany's top ten tour operators within a few years.

Jens Bischof said: "the strong result for \[YEAR\] is primarily an exceptional team effort by our employees throughout Europe deserving highest recognition." He added that their repositioning as value airlines yields results motivating them further towards continued success into \[YEAR+\].
