Emirates is expanding its network of refurbished Boeing 777 aircraft, adding London Stansted Airport as the third UK destination to be served by the retrofitted widebodies. In addition, Emirates will commence flights to Seoul, South Korea, with these upgraded planes.

The Dubai-based carrier continues to introduce new destinations for its refurbished aircraft as more units complete the retrofit program and enter scheduled service. Flights to London Stansted Airport are set to begin on May 7, 2025. According to Cirium, an aviation analytics company, Emirates currently operates two daily 777 flights from Dubai International Airport (DXB) to Stansted but has not specified how many of these will feature the refurbished aircraft.

The retrofitted Boeing 777s boast a four-class configuration that includes a premium economy offering and an upgraded business class layout from a 2-3-2 to a 1-2-1 configuration. This change provides enhanced comfort and privacy with aisle access for each passenger and personal mini-bars. Some aircraft also include exclusive first-class suites.

Flights to Seoul are scheduled to start on April 14 and will operate three times weekly on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays under Flights EK324 and EK325. Tokyo-Haneda was the first Asian destination served by the retrofitted Boeing 777s in September 2024 following Geneva in August of that year while Brussels launched later in September after Tokyo-Haneda's debut flight.
