Boeing has announced that Turkish Technic has enhanced its maintenance training by adopting Boeing's Maintenance Training Services (MTS) and Maintenance Synthetic Trainer (MST) to tackle operational challenges. The announcement was made in a post on X on February 26.
Turkish Technic, an international provider of aircraft maintenance and repair services, encountered significant hurdles in its training processes due to the expansion of its fleet, which includes Boeing 737, 737 MAX, 777, and 787 aircraft. According to Boeing’s website, the company sought a solution to streamline training procedures, reduce costs, and improve regulatory compliance.
By implementing Boeing’s Maintenance Training Services, Turkish Technic accessed updated training materials, eliminating the need for frequent manual updates. This move resulted in estimated savings of $500,000 in initial training design costs and an additional $200,000 in annual recurring costs.
