Delta Air Lines has announced the launch of its first-ever nonstop service from Atlanta to Marrakech, Morocco, along with additional seasonal flights to Accra, Ghana. The airline shared this development on its X account on February 28.

According to Delta's official website, the new route to Marrakech will commence on October 25, 2025. This marks the airline's inaugural direct connection to Morocco. The flights will operate three times per week using a Boeing 767-400ER aircraft, which offers multiple cabin options including Delta One and Delta Premium Select.

The airline will also introduce seasonal daily nonstop flights from Atlanta to Accra starting December 1, 2025, aimed at meeting peak winter demand. This new route complements Delta’s existing daily year-round service from New York-JFK to Accra, which is operated on an Airbus A330-900neo.

The introduction of the Atlanta-Marrakech route enhances connectivity for travelers from over 125 cities via Delta’s Atlanta hub. Marrakech is known for its historic markets, UNESCO-listed Medina, and cultural landmarks and is expected to attract both leisure and business travelers.

Based in Atlanta, Georgia, Delta Air Lines is one of the largest global carriers. It operates a fleet of more than 900 aircraft and serves over 275 destinations across six continents. The company emphasizes safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction in its operations.
