On February 27th, Qantas announced that it would be introducing a “next- generation inflight experience across more domestic and short-haul international flights” through a major Boeing 737 cabin upgrade program. This initiative is part of Qantas’ ongoing extensive fleet renewal.

The airline's plans involve refurbishing over half of its fleet to enhance the travel experience for passengers on both domestic and short-haul international routes. The upgrade program aims to modernize the cabins with updated features and amenities.

Qantas has not detailed specific features or timelines for the upgrades but emphasizes that this move complements their current fleet renewal efforts, which are already in progress.
