Elon Musk, the world's richest man, owns three Gulfstream jets: two G550s and a G650ER. In 2022, Musk hinted at possibly acquiring a Gulfstream G700 to replace one of his current aircraft. The speed, range, and reliability of Gulfstream jets contribute to their leadership in the private aviation market.

Musk, founder of SpaceX and Tesla and owner of X (formerly Twitter), appears passionate about Gulfstream jets. His four-jet fleet includes three Gulfstreams.

The Gulfstream G550 is a long-range twin-engine business jet known for its comfort and fuel efficiency. It has an operational range of 6,750 nautical miles (NM), allowing transatlantic and transpacific flights without refueling.

  • Austin (AUS) to West Palm Beach (PBI), Florida on November8 : Approximately1 ,100 miles taking three hours.
  • West Palm Beach (PBI), Florida to Washington Dulles (IAD) on November13 : Around870 miles completed just over two hours.
  • Austin Texas(AUS)-New York LaGuardia(LGA)November16; Approximate distance being1 ,500 miles covered within three half-hours etc...
