The Cessna Citation is one of the most popular business jet models ever made. Having been produced for over 50 years, the aircraft has evolved into more than a dozen variants covering various market segments. The Cessna Citation XLS model is an upgraded version of the Citation Excel, aimed at the midsize Business Jet sector.

Debuting in 2004, the Citation XLS featured a glass cockpit and upgraded engines compared to the original Citation Excel, effectively succeeding the prior model. While today, Cessna now produces the even more modern Citation XLS+, the second generation of the midsize Citation is an appealing option for many customers due to its combination of performance, luxury, and versatility.
