Flydubai has inaugurated three new routes from Dubai to Iran, expanding its Iranian network to 11 destinations. The latest additions are Bushehr, Qeshm, and Tabriz, bringing the carrier's total offering from Dubai to 130 airports this year.

The details of the three routes indicate low frequencies, reflecting their status as some of flydubai's least-served markets. All routes offer onward connectivity over Dubai with flydubai and its partner Emirates, enhancing global connectivity for the three Iranian cities. Notably, Tabriz now has foreign routes to Gulf hubs for the first time.

None of these routes operate from Dubai's Terminal 3, which complicates connectivity with Emirates flights. However, most passengers are expected to be flying point-to-point.

Qeshm stands out as flydubai's shortest link at just 95 nautical miles (176 km), with flights typically taking about 30 minutes according to Flightradar24.

The schedule is as follows:

- March 13: Bushehr - Twice-weekly (737-800/737 MAX 8)

This route is new to flydubai's network. Iran Air was the last operator in 2022, and Kish Air served until 2018. Flydubai is currently Bushehr's sole international carrier.

- March 13: Tabriz - Twice-weekly (mainly the737-800)

Briefly served by flydubai in2015, this return makes it the only airline onthe city pair. Kish Air and Iran Aseman were the last operators in2014. Flydubai is Tabriz''s first airline from the Gulf.
