Emirates has introduced the next seven destinations for its Airbus A350-900 aircraft, deploying the type to destinations across Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Middle East, as well as adding extra flights on current routes.

On March 19, Emirates announced that throughout the summer months and on September 1, the airline would introduce the A350-900 to seven destinations across several continents:

- Tunis-Carthage International Airport (TUN), six weekly flights starting on June 1

- Amman Queen Alia International Airport (AMM), daily flights starting on June 1

- Istanbul Airport (IST), daily flights starting on June 1

- Dammam King Fahd International Airport (DMM), daily flights starting on July 1

- Ho Chi Minh City Tan Son Nhat International Airport (SGN), daily flights starting on August 1

- Baghdad International Airport (BGW), three weekly flights starting on August 3

- Oslo Gardermoen Airport (OSL), daily flights starting on September 1

The list above indicates the start of A350-900 operations and their frequencies. Data from aviation analytics company Cirium's Diio Mi showed that Emirates currently serves all seven airports with its Airbus A380, Boeing 777- 200LR, or 777-300ER aircraft.

Interestingly, Emirates said that if Airbus delivers the widebodies ahead of schedule, it would bring forward the deployment of the A350-900 on these routes.

In April, Dubai International Airport (DXB) home carrier scheduled 49 weekly flights with the A350-900 to six destinations: Ahmedabad Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport (AMD), Bahrain International Airport (BAH), Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (BOM), Colombo Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB), Edinburgh Airport (EDI), and Kuwait International Airport (KWI).

In addition to new routes, Emirates said it would add more A350-900 flights on specific routes and bring forward services to Bologna Guglielmo Marconi Airport in Italy by a month. Starting June 1, Emirates' triple-daily flights to Bahrain will become a "nearly" exclusive A350-900 operation with Cirium's Diio Mi showing22 weekly flights split between14A350 -900,seve n777 -200LR,andone777 -300ERoperationinApril.FromOctober ,theairlinewillreplacethe777withtheA -oneoutoffourdailyflightstoKuwait ,withtheAalreadybeingdeployedononedailyflighttofellowGulfCooperationCouncil GCCcountry.Lastly,BolognaGuglielmoMarconiAirport BLQwillreceiveitsfirstEmiratesAservicecurrentlyserveddailybythe ERonJune amonthaheadofdeploymentschedule.AssuchairlineroutenetworkwithAofSeptembershouldlooklikefollowingAccordingchaviationdataEmirateshasthreeAsAXAdeliveredNovemberAXBdeliveredDecemberAXDdeliveredJanuaryTypeenteredserviceairlineJanuaryflyingDubaiEdinburghScotlandRelatedYouCanFlyNewEmiratesAirbusNextYearmuchanticipatedarrivalEmiratesAirbuspromptstakelookscheduleseeTheywillbeflyingLeveragingoperationalflexibilityAdnanKazimDeputyPresidentChiefCommercialOfficerCCOsaidstrategicexpansionleveragedtypesoperationalflexibilityefficiencySametimeofferscustomersadditionalpremiumtraveloptionsexperienceinteriorsKazimaddedTheintroductionaircraftlayeringexistingrouteschedulesenablesmaintaincompellingcompetitivepositionchoice discerning travelers looking for a unique slate of connectivity options and elevated onboard experiences they can't have with any other carrier.
