To maximize savings during the sale, customers are encouraged to add desired items to their Amazon Wishlist in advance. Notifications can be set up for price drops via the mobile app or desktop assistant. Additionally, Amazon's own products often see substantial discounts during this period.

For those looking to save even more money on purchases during the sale, using certain credit cards can provide additional benefits. The Prime Visa card offers 5% cash back on all Amazon purchases for eligible Prime members and a $100 gift card for new cardholders upon approval. Other recommended cards include the Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card and Chase Freedom Unlimited.

The use of credit card offers and coupons is advised for further savings. For instance, American Express previously offered targeted cardholders up to 50% savings on Amazon purchases using Membership Rewards points.

Amazon's Big Spring Sale presents an opportunity for consumers to take advantage of numerous deals over its seven-day duration.
